Extending from Lake Mulwala at Yarrawonga in the north-east downstream along the Murray River to the South Australian border in the far north-west of Victoria, the MRGC region covers around 21 percent of the State and is home to over 161,000 people.
Our regional economy is driven predominantly by agriculture, both irrigated and dryland, and food manufacturing with tourism construction and health and social care also significant employers.
