The MRGC members meet regularly, on the first Thursday of each month. The Mayors and CEOs meet quarterly and the CEOs meet throughout the year, to progress the agenda of the Group.
These meetings provide a forum for strategic discussion and consideration of key issues and advocacy positions. They offer members a mechanism for building, strengthening and maintaining relationships with each other and with key stakeholders.
The Group also seeks to meet with decision makers within the region where possible or in Canberra or Melbourne to advocate directly to decision makers.
