Mayors happy to meet with Minister Shing

MRGC Mayors and CEOs were really pleased to meet with Victorian Minister for Water and Regional Development, Hon. Harriet Shing MP to discuss the Group’s water position ahead of the mid year Basin Plan Ministerial Council meeting.

Minister Shing traveled to Mildura and sat down with MRGC mayors from across our region. The Group was very pleased to hear that our key issues – that Buy Backs divide and harm our communities and that a sensible time extension needs to be granted to the Victorian SDLAM projects, were well understood by the Minister.
