Chair of the MRGC 2025

Councillor Dan Straub, Mayor Loddon Shire Council 

Cr Straub is a local of Loddon Shire, living on a farm near Pyramid Hill, he has worked in the agriculture and construction industries. He is passionate about working in and advocating for our rural communities and the fantastic lifestyle that they support. Dan has been a councillor since 2020 and has been Mayor of Loddon twice previously. As Chair, Cr Straub is the primary spokesperson for the MRGC. He will lead delegations, represent the Group in campaigns, public inquiries and consultations as well as chairing the Mayor and CEO meetings throughout the year. 

Lincoln Fitzgerald, CEO Loddon Shire – lead CEO for 2025

Lincoln has worked in Local Government for over 20 years in diverse roles in the region and overseas. Lincoln’s career has focused on building, leading and managing diverse teams and large business units. As the lead CEO for MRGC Lincoln Chairs the CEOs meetings and oversees the Group’s general operation.  

Executive Officer of MRGC

The Executive Officer of MRGC is Geoff Turner. Geoff has been the Executive Officer of MRGC since 2014. His role is to support the Chair and CEO and all members, co-ordinate the group’s meetings and advocacy activities and progress the activities and priorities agreed by the Group. Geoff has worked in State and Local Government in Victoria and in Local Government overseas. He lives in central Victoria.
